Incredibly fortunate to have run into VillaBelvedere on our drive through the area!
The Food: My group had several appetizers, three different pasta entres, a meatball entre, and a salad with fresh cucumber and mozzarella. I can’t stress enough how DELICIOUS the food was. Each plate had that home made taste and feel, which is missing from restaurants in the major cities. Could not snap enough photos of the food because we were so enamored by how delicious it was.
The Ambiance: Gorgeous and relaxing.
The Service: Incredibly accommodating and suggested modifications per our preference. Lovely people.

Everything about this place was amazing. We came a bit later than the usual lunch time and the ladies working there were so warm and welcoming even when my partner and I do not speak Italian.
The view from the terrace is unmatched and we had an incredible, homemade meal! I had a delicious pasta with eggplant, tomato, and mozzarella and my partner had pasta with pomodoro and stockfish. We shared bruschetta with tuna and both had house wine and tiramisu for dessert along with coffee and limoncello. The prices were extremely reasonable.
If you are in Palmi, I highly recommend!

To our right, the coast to the port of Goia Tauro then around to the promontory and Capo Vaticano. In between the magnificent Eolian Islands. Volcanic Stromboli, Salina (where the award winning film IL Postino was shot) Volcano, Lipari, Panarea, Basiluzzo, Liscia Bianca, Filicudi ans Alicudi. Just stunning. The food is fresh, flavourful and truly Calabrian home cooking (Casalinga) at its finest. Please come you won't be disappointed. Only a handful of tables and absolutely huge in Atmosphere. Highly recommend if you want the experience of eating authentic Italian cooking straight from Nona’s kitchen. My husband already went twice and his family has spread the word! All the food is cooked fresh from the port or the garden. The views are also spectacular looking over the ocean. Please don’t miss this on your next trip to Palmi!

Freshly made, delicious food at a great price. The Chef and Antonio, the server were both so nice and accommodating. It was so nice eating at a local family restaurant. Plenty of delicious food, beautiful views and such lovely staff. I highly recommend!

Excellent home made authentic Italian food. The view is fantastic and the welcoming environment was lovely. Would recommend for something different and entertaining hosts… note the home grown peppers are hot!

Go to visit Palmi by all means but for the evening visit this lovely family restaurant run by a Calabrian family who treat you like welcome guests . Did I mention the view ?

A wonderful experience and absolutely fresh and delicious food. The service is friendly and we loved everything about our experience. It's like dinner at home with the family. I would absolutely recommend if you are open to a new experience and have no dietary restrictions. Loved the fresh swordfish, best I ever had!!
